Activity 5 - Conclusion

Hello students

As you know we are having the final test next week.
Because of that I will sum up what you have done and what you haven't.

Activity 3 - Scanning for meaning
16 students have done 7 are missing

Activity 4 - Whole reading process 1/Word weapon
7 students have done 16 are missing

Activity 5 - Whole reading process 2/Young Saudis
This is what we are doing today:
Well, download the text Young Saudis.pdf
Go through the test and write your answers on a piece of paper.
Than compare this activity with the activity 4 and write your impressions.
THESE THREE ACTIVITIES WILL BE FROM THE GREAT HELP AT THE FINAL TEST!

This assignment is more easier than the last one ,also their questions is simple and have many kind of questions for us to skimmimg ,some for scanning as well. We have to use scanning technique for this activity a lot because almost all of the questions asking for understanding.

For the vocabulary,this assignment is easier ,it used common words in everyday life so we can easily answer this kind of vocabulary easily . The previous one use the vocabularythat more academic so some of them we don't usually used so we may haveto use dictionary to find out it meaning.

To compare activity 4 with activity 5, in my opinion I think activity 5 is easlier in every parts.
The reason that make activity 5 easlier than activity 4 might be a thing that we this is the second time u done this. ^^

In activity 5, I could say that I like the first part the most. The reasons is they are some words that I've never heard of and also some that I have already knew. So I learn new words and I can actually do some of them myself with out guessing. Unlike act 4, most of the word I don't kmow and I have to guess it all. ^^ lol

I did use scaning technique to complete this act5, just like act 4. ^^


Nothing in This activity I think it's hard. ^^

In this Activity it is easier than Activity4 on the part of key word because we kind of we already know the vocaburary and on the part of find the text and detial because we can use the scaning skill because it is about to find the place and number like the Meter and a percentage.

and about the Part three we can use the skimming and scaning bith if it will help us to easily to comprehenshion and can macth it.

: And vocanburaly is really easier

All and all for your activity can help us a lot to pratcice and improve our English skill

Between Activity 4 and Activity 5, i think activity 5 is easier than activity 4. Because the vocabulary in this activity is easier than activity 5 , the question and every part are easier to find the answer.

I think This activity is easier than activity 4 . This activity have a lot kind of question .
About vocabulary is easier than the last one too.I can remember new words and I can
actually do some of them myself.In activity 5 I less guess than the previous one.


I think every activity is important for me

i think activity 5 is easier than activity 4 beacause the vocaburary is simple.

i don't have to open dictionary. but i love this activity it easy every part.

For the activity 4 & 5 in my opinion, I think the activity 5 is easily then the activity 4, because in the activity 5 I can find the answer from the text and the vocabulary in activity 5 is very easy for me.

In activity 5 it difficult and have many vocabulary I don't understand.

first point is that
vocaburary is more common use
compared to activity 4 which is a specific word.
second point
stress word- activity 5 have only 2 pattern
but activity have 4 pattern
and we need to scanning to find the answer
because we have to understand it then we can know the answer.

For me I really think that the activity no.5 is much easier than activity no.4 the reason why i said that because the the vocabualary in the activity i have already know so for some reason i think it is easier.

also i used scanning stragies to do the reading passage to fing the answer.

finally i think i have done the actvity a couple time so it really help me to improve my skill

why i can't see my post reply that i post yesterday
i will do it again

This timei i can finished the activity faster than last time
because i think this activity is easier than activity4
For example, in part1 Key words the vocabularies are the words that i already knew so it's easy for me to finished the activity
Moreover, i can practice my scanning and skiming skills by doing these activities
so my english skills will be improved and it is useful for me to look for the answer whild doing the test

These activities are good that we can learn and improve our scaning & skiming skills
we do more and get more
so if we want to develop our english we must practice more.

I think activity 5 is easy than activity 4.
Because the word in this text I know more than activity 4.
And the question is easy to find answer.
